My Parents Save Someone's Life

My parents saved someone's life today. We were watching a big storm come in. We saw a kayaker trying to come to shore, but the winds were against him and the storm was making big waves. My mom called a rescue worker and my dad went down with a towel. The rescue workers came, along with two police cars, and got a jet-ski ready. My dad helped push it into the water. My mom was still trying to flash to the guy and get to swim in our direction. The rescue workers went out there and spiraled in toward the guy. By the time he got out, another police car, two ambulances, and a firetruck had arrived. After they left, my dad and I started picking up the beach because even the trash cans had been pulled into the sea. This has been the highlight of my summer so far and will probably be the only real highlight.
